These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern
your use of the Unhook application
(“App”) developed by Softigrity
(“we”, “us”, “our”). By installing or
using Unhook, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, do not use the App.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

THE SERVICE

Unhook is a digital wellness application
designed to help users reduce compulsive
use of social media, adult content, and
other distracting applications on Android
devices.

Unhook is a tool, not a medical device,
therapy service, or clinical treatment.
We make no guarantee that using Unhook
will result in any specific behavioral
or health outcome. Results vary by user.

ELIGIBILITY

You must be at least 18 years of age to
use Unhook. By using the App you confirm
that you are 18 or older. Users between
13 and 17 may only use Unhook with
verified parental consent. Users under 13
are not permitted to use the App.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

ACCOUNTS

You may use Unhook without an account.
Creating an account enables subscription
syncing across devices and data backup.

You are responsible for maintaining the
security of your account credentials.
Softigrity is not liable for any loss
resulting from unauthorized access to
your account.

SUBSCRIPTIONS AND BILLING

4a. Free tier
Core features of Unhook are available
without payment. The free tier includes
limited AI coaching and access to
standard blocking features.

4b. Unhook Pro
Unhook Pro is a subscription that unlocks
additional features including unlimited
AI coaching, Strict Mode, Scheduled
Focus, and advanced keyword protection.

Subscriptions are billed through Google
Play on a monthly or annual basis.
Pricing is displayed at the time of
purchase and may change with notice.

4c. Free trial
Where offered, a free trial period is
available to new subscribers. Your
payment method will be charged at the
end of the trial period unless cancelled
before it expires. Trial eligibility is
determined by Google Play and may be
limited to one trial per Google account.

4d. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any
time through Google Play account settings
at play.google.com/store/account/
subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect
at the end of the current billing period.
You retain Pro access until that date.

4e. Renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically unless
cancelled at least 24 hours before the
end of the current period. Renewal charges
use the payment method on file with
Google Play.

REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS

All purchases are processed by Google
Play. Our refund policy is:

Within 48 hours of purchase:
Refund requests submitted within 48 hours
may be eligible for a full refund through
Google Play’s standard refund process at
play.google.com/store/account/orderhistory.
Google processes these directly and
Softigrity does not control the outcome.

After 48 hours:
Refunds are not provided for subscription
periods already paid for, partial months,
or unused time remaining after
cancellation. This is consistent with
Google Play’s developer terms.

Exception — technical failure:
If Unhook Pro features are completely
non-functional on your device due to a
verified bug on our end and we are unable
to resolve it within 7 business days of
your report, we will issue a prorated
refund at our discretion. You must report
the issue to [email protected] with
your order number and a description of
the problem.

Softigrity reserves the right to refuse
refund requests that we determine in good
faith to be abusive, fraudulent, or
in violation of these Terms.

ACCEPTABLE USE

You agree not to:

Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify
the App or its underlying code
Use the App to violate any applicable
law or regulation
Circumvent, disable, or interfere with
security or blocking features
Use automated tools to manipulate the
App’s data or features
Share your account credentials with
others or allow multiple users to use
a single account concurrently

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Unhook, including all code, design,
brand assets, names, copy, and features,
is the exclusive intellectual property
of Softigrity and is protected by
applicable copyright and trademark law.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive,
non-transferable license to use Unhook
on your personal Android device. This
license does not include any right to
copy, distribute, modify, or create
derivative works.

DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

Unhook is provided “as is” and “as
available” without warranties of any kind,
express or implied, including but not
limited to warranties of merchantability,
fitness for a particular purpose, or
non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

The App will be uninterrupted or
error-free
Blocking features will intercept all
targeted content in all circumstances
The App will function identically on
all Android devices or OS versions
Results from using Unhook will meet
your specific expectations

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law,
Softigrity shall not be liable for any:

Indirect, incidental, or consequential
damages arising from use of the App
Loss of data, revenue, or profits
Personal or psychological harm
attributed to the App or its absence
Failure of blocking features to
prevent access to specific content
Actions taken or not taken by you
based on AI Coach suggestions

Our total liability to you for any claim
arising from use of Unhook shall not
exceed the total amount you paid to
Softigrity in the 12 months preceding
the claim, or $10 USD, whichever is
greater.

INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless
Softigrity and its directors, employees,
and agents from any claims, damages,
losses, or expenses (including legal fees)
arising from your use of Unhook, your
violation of these Terms, or your
infringement of any third-party rights.

TERMINATION

We reserve the right to suspend or
terminate your access to Unhook at any
time if we believe you have violated
these Terms. Termination does not
entitle you to a refund except as
described in Section 5.

You may stop using Unhook and delete
your account at any time via the
Profile screen.

GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of
the jurisdiction in which Softigrity
operates, without regard to conflict of
law principles. Any disputes shall be
resolved by binding arbitration or in
courts of competent jurisdiction, as
required by applicable consumer
protection law in your territory.

CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms at any time.
Material changes will be communicated
via in-app notice. Continued use after
notice constitutes acceptance.
